The Dhaka Times Desk Malaysia is going to build Quranic village and mosque for the first time in the world. It will be built in Taranganu, Putrajaya, south of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.
Through this establishment, Taranganu will become a city of knowledge. The country's government has already determined various issues including its construction cost, source of funds and construction land allocation. Malaysia's Malay Mail, Time News and other media have published it.
The country has taken this initiative to attract tourists to Putrajaya, which is located south of Kuala Lumpur, to promote and spread Quranic knowledge and to create a beautiful environment for foreigners to live permanently in this modern city. It is also a special part of the Nasrul Quran special installation.
Federal Territories Minister Anwar Musa announced the construction of the mosque and Quranic village in a tweet. In it, he also posted a picture of the mosque and Qurani Village.
The country has already allocated 20 acres of land for the construction of this Quranic village and mosque. Its design work is almost finished. This minister expressed hope on Twitter that the construction work will start next year i.e. at the beginning of 2021 by God's will.
About 1,500 million Malaysian Ringgit will be spent on the construction of this Quranic city and mosque. Half of this money will be invested by the country's government and the other half will be collected as donations from various donor groups and well-wishers.
