The Dhaka Times Desk Jubo League leader Riazul Haque Khan was killed in a 'crossfire' with two RAB, along with Zahid Siddique Tariq, a suspect involved in Milki's murder. The incident took place near the Khilgaon over bridge in the capital yesterday at around 10 pm on Wednesday.
It is known that the name of the other person killed along with Tarek is Shah Alam. Zahid Siddique Tarek is the Joint General Secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan Jubo League South.
RAB Intelligence Branch Director Ziaul Ahsan was quoted by a news media as saying that Zahid Siddiq Tariq, who was shot, was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Uttara district of the capital. He was being taken for handover to Gulshan police station. When the vehicle carrying him reached the Khilgaon Over Bridge at around 10 pm, Tarek's colleagues attacked him to abduct him. Two people including Tarek were killed in the 'gunfight' between the two sides when they tried to escape. Ziaul Ahsan claimed that two RAB members were injured.
Earlier, Jubo League expelled Zahid Siddiqui Tarek and Dhaka Metropolitan Jubo League North Organizing Secretary Sakhawat Hossain Chanchal for their involvement in Riazul Haque Khan Milki's murder.
Milki was shot dead outside a shopping mall called Shoppers World in Gulshan on the night of July 29. Later, RAB arrested six people including Zahid Siddiqui Tarek after seeing the scene captured by the hidden camera of the mall.

The footage captured by the Shoppers Wald's CCTV camera shows that after Milki got down from the private car, a young man wearing a white pajama-punjabi and cap came in front of Milki while talking on a mobile phone in his left ear and fired the first shot with a small firearm in his right hand. The shot Milky turned left and crawled on the ground. At that time the young man fired seven/eight more shots at Milky. After that, when a young man came from behind riding a motorcycle, the young man who fired shot sat on the back of that motorcycle and went away. At that time, another youth was also seen firing.
According to BangladeshNews24.com, the young man in white Punjabi who was seen firing was Tareq. Tareq was injured in a shooting by one of the direct participants in the killing mission. His accomplices admitted Tarek, who was shot, to a hospital in the capital. At that time, Tarek was being guarded by Chanchal, the organizing secretary of Mahanagar North Jubo League. After receiving the news, Tarek was arrested from that hospital. Later, five more people were arrested in raids. During interrogation, Tareq confessed to the murder. At the same time, others involved in the murder have also been identified. In this case, 6 people named Tuhinur Rahman, Syed Mostafa Ali Rumi, Mohammad Rashed Mahmud, Saidul Islam alias Nuruzzaman, Mohammad Sujan Howladar and Jahangir Mal were arrested.
