The businessman's choice of car number is O 10, which is associated with his family sentiments. According to Motor One.com, the nameplate of the car number was bought by a member of the Thompson family of Birmingham from a government auction.

The number is associated with the centenary memory of that family. In 1902 in Birmingham, car numbers were distributed by public authorities. At that time businessman Charles Thompson was on line 10. So this O 10 nameplate fell to his fate.

Charles used this number to deliver wholesale groceries to the Greater Birmingham area. On Charles' death in 1955, his son Barry became the owner of the car with this number. He used to deliver wood to nearby areas in this vehicle. In this way, their business started to expand gradually due to the vehicle with that number.

However, after Barry's death in 2017, the government authorities also issued a retention certificate to the Thompson family. That number is also lost from the hands of the family.

However, this number was bought back by an heir of the Thompson family at an auction held this month. However, the name of the person who spent huge money to get the number has not been disclosed.
