It is known that there is a possibility of releasing these films in this country simultaneously with India. In order to overcome the shortage of viewers during the Corona period, the owners have proposed to play Hindi films in the cinema halls of Bangladesh. They are also of the opinion that there is no alternative to such measures to prevent the closure of cinema halls.

Leaders of Bangladesh Hall Owners Association and others also proposed to play ten Bollywood movies in a meeting with Information Minister Hasan Mahmud. The Information Minister asked the Hall Owners Association to submit a written proposal on the matter. It is said that the final decision will be given from the ministry after receiving the written letter.

It is yet to be finalized whether the movies will be released in Bangladesh simultaneously with India or if old Bollywood movies will be played. After receiving the letter, the ministry will discuss with the relevant officials and determine it. The release date of the movie will also be decided at that time.

It should be noted that this decision has been taken several times before. Old Hindi movies are also released. However, it did not see much success in the face of the movement of activists of various film organizations. Once again it is heard that Bollywood movies will be released in the theaters of Bangladesh. These Bollywood movies will be released in Bangladesh on the day of their release in India.

Cinema hall owners of Bangladesh are walking towards such a decision by slightly 'upgrading' the SAFTA agreement.
