Two bodies were recovered by breaking the lock of the house. According to the initial investigation, the highly educated son killed his parents out of frustration of not getting a job. The police found out that the young man tried to commit suicide after killing his parents. The deceased have been identified as Pradyut Bose and Gopa Bose. Police have arrested son Shubojit.

According to a report of the popular Indian media Anandabazar newspaper, the stench was emanating from the four-storey flat in Shibpur Kaipukur Lane for several days. On Wednesday morning, the stench became unbearable. Neighbors knocked on the door but no one opened the door, so they reported to Shivpur police station. The police came to the spot and broke the lock and entered inside. The police were shocked to see two dead bodies and the young man sitting in a bloody state.

It is not yet clear to the police how the body was put to death. Investigating officers said that Shubojit is not completely mentally healthy. He is being treated. The matter may be clarified after receiving the post-mortem report and interrogating Shubojit further.

The local police claim that the son Shubojit has already confessed to killing his parents. A more shocking information emerged during his interrogation. Arrested Shubojit claimed that he tried to commit suicide after killing his parents. The police are looking into the matter. But no suicide note has been recovered yet.

Police said Shubojit's father Pradyutbabu is a retired employee of Bridge and Roof Company. He had virtually no income. On the other hand Shuvijit passed MCA. But he did not get the job accordingly. That's why the family was in trouble. This family is in more trouble during the lockdown. Shubojit was mentally depressed due to all these reasons. Investigating officers believe that the murder was done due to that fatigue.
