According to a report in Anandabazar newspaper, such an incident happened recently in India's RG Kar Medical College Hospital.

The doctors of that hospital said that it actually took the shape of a boiled egg after the growth of body parts. Such an incident has never happened before in India. In terms of doctors, this disease is called 'peritoneal loose bodies or peritoneal mice'.

According to hospital sources, a 52-year-old man from Dumdum was suffering from lower abdominal pain for several months. He also had burning sensation during urination. However, he was recently admitted to RG Kar Medical College Hospital as the pain did not subside.

Initially, the doctors thought that the lower abdominal pain could also be due to the urinary bladder infection. Later she underwent ultrasonography. Seeing that report, the doctors think that the pain in the lower abdomen is due to the presence of a tumor in the bladder. A CT scan is also done. In that report, besides the urinary bladder, the tumor was likely to be located in the esophagus.

Doctors finally decided to operate. However, the attending doctors were shocked after the operation. A 'boiled egg' about five centimeters long was removed from the patient's lower abdomen.

The doctors said that fat-calcium clotted with the body tissue and took the shape of an egg. As the back of the egg-like part looks like a mouse, it can also be called 'rat in the stomach' in Bengali, said doctors. Usually, in men, the appendix or the fleshy part of the large intestine can take on this egg-like shape. On the other hand, in women, small tumors can develop from the cervix.
