Online classes are going on at home!

Corona infection around the world has completely taken away the normal learning situation of school-college students. Due to which the educational program is being conducted in a certain way.

10-year-old Jhai and Chalma have no internet connection inside their house. Therefore, during the Corona period, this student of the fifth class has to go up to the roof and sit on the rice to do online classes. Jhai's mother said, 'Sometimes we change SIM cards to get a better connection. But we don't have the money to do it all the time.'

The Philippine government, like other countries, has given students in this situation tablets or mobile phones, with which they can attend online classes. The school was supposed to reopen in January. Due to the fact that the country is currently the second most infected among the Southeast Asian countries, the students' studies will continue online for a few more days.

Although developed countries have achieved success in terms of online education, the reality in the Philippines is completely different. In the country of 10.8 million people, only one-fifth, i.e. only 2 crore people, have access to the Internet. Moreover, many more families cannot afford to buy mobile phones. On the other hand, a large part of the country's students have dropped out of school due to lack of internet.

11-year-old Lovely lives with her family in a cemetery in Manila. His parents have to run the family by selling chickens. Even if he doesn't get help in his studies from the people of the house, he has to finish his studies sitting beside them, on the grave. Lovely's mother said, this situation is not at all favorable for studies. However, accepting the situation, he has to say, 'If you don't see the business, what will you feed him? We can get out of here one day only if he studies and gets a job.'

College-educated Mark is a resident of the Batangas region of the Philippines. Sometimes he has to ride in the forest, sometimes or in the mountains for internet connection. He also has to work part-time to pay for the internet needed for his studies. Despite a thousand odds, Mark remains steadfast in his goal. His statement is, 'I know, we are not rich at all, so I want to repay my parents' debt after completing my studies. Without giving up, I want to focus on reading and writing with patience even in this difficult time.

Things to do to prevent Corona virus

# stay at home all the time.
# Follow the rules and use mask when going out for emergency.

# wash clothes after coming home from outside. Or hang it without shaking for at least four hours.
# Wash hands thoroughly (for at least 20 seconds) with soap or liquid before coming outside.
