According to Deutsche Welle, the idea of making the impossible possible is to build a city with no carbon emissions. Which in the 21st century, no one can even dream of.
An initiative has been taken to implement this project called 'Neom Zone' on the edge of the Red Sea. The construction of the completely pollution-free (zero emission) city is scheduled to begin early this year, which will take about 10 years to complete.
According to the media, the plan to build this city called 'The Line' was taken up in 2017. It will be a city with an area of 26,500 square kilometers. The city is expected to open by 2030.
There will be no such thing as car traffic or carbon emissions in this city. But the city will be an advanced or sophisticated city in science and technology. Experts believe that it will be the model of the new generation city.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said the city will also have state-of-the-art roads for high-speed traffic. Built as a 'business hub', the city will have accommodation for people. Everything here runs on refined fuel, which is completely environment friendly.
According to media sources, the implementation of the project will cost 500 billion US dollars. It will provide employment to about 3 lakh 80 thousand people. The Saudi economy is expected to grow significantly with this city on the border of Jordan and Egypt.
