Many users have already quit using this app. WhatsApp has temporarily suspended the update related to data sharing due to heavy pressure. The company has given this information on its own blog.

The deadline for receiving updates on data sharing was February 8. It has now been increased to 15. WhatsApp authorities have adopted a plan to gradually approach users with this policy before the new option comes.

The Facebook-owned company said the matter was put on hold to dispel misconceptions about privacy and security.

A blog post stated, 'We've heard a lot of people's confusion about the recent update. This update does not allow us to share information with Facebook.
