'KGF 2' to release on July 16

The Dhaka Times Desk Finally the wait is over! The release date of Kannada superstar Yash's much awaited movie 'KGF: Chapter Two' has been announced. This movie will be released in theaters worldwide on July 16, 2021.

On schedule, Yash shared a new poster on his Twitter handle. He also added the caption to the fans, Fasten your seat belts, because the date is fixed. The poster shows Yash aka Rocky Bhai with arms and a lion statue in the back.

Yash aka Rocky Bhai will face villain Sanjay Dutt aka Adhira in the movie 'KGF: Chapter Two'. However, the teaser which was released on the occasion of Yash's birthday on January 8, did not show any look of Adhira. Apart from Sanjay Dutt, it also stars Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj and Srinidhi Shetty in important roles.

An Indian entertainment media outlet recently reported that the Hindi rights of the movie 'KGF: Chapter Two' have been sold for Rs 90 crores before its release, which in Bangladeshi currency stands at over Rs 103 crores. The rights have been bought by the production company Excel Entertainment, led by Bollywood's renowned director, actor and producer Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, who made headlines in 2018 by buying the Hindi rights of the movie 'KGF: Chapter One'.

The media also reported that the 'KGF 2' team is also thinking of releasing the second teaser within a few weeks after the massive response to the first teaser.

The movie 'KGF 2' is directed by Prashant Neel and produced by Vijay Kirgandur. The second installment of KGF is releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.
