Recently the makers announced the release date of this movie. The much awaited movie 'KGF 2' will hit the theaters on July 16. A group of actor Yash's devotees wrote a letter to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking a government holiday on the day of the film's release.

Previously, the first installment of the film 'KGF Chapter One' was released in 2018. The film is about Krishnappa Beyer "Rocky". He was born into poverty and came to Bombay (now Mumbai) in the 1960s to inherit the power and wealth of his dead mother. Sonar got involved with the mafia there. He is then assigned to kill Garuda, the tyrannical heir to the Kallar Gold Fields. The movie stars Yash as "Rocky" and Ramchandra Raju as Garuda.

After the release, the film got a huge response. So the audience has been waiting for two and a half years to watch the next installment. Now when the director announced the release date of the film, Yash fans could not sit still. He appealed to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, seeking government leave. The letter quickly went viral.
