The Dhaka Times Desk The United Arab Emirates has sent a spacecraft to Mars for the first time. The country is now also celebrating this success after the rover named Hope entered the orbit of Mars.
This made the UAE the fifth power in the world to send a probe to Mars for space exploration. In the past, the United States, the former Soviet Union, Europe and China have also conducted such searches on this planet, known as the 'Red Planet' of the universe.
It is known that this vehicle left the earth for Mars 7 months ago. However, it also had to spend some time to enter the gravitational force of Mars. Scientists from the United Arab Emirates will study the planet after collecting data on its environment via Hope.
They have 3 instruments on this satellite, which will test to see where the once abundant water on Mars has disappeared. This experiment will be conducted by collecting the smallest unit or neutral atom of hydrogen and oxygen from there.
Hope will also send high-resolution images from the planet to Earth. After launching from Earth, this vehicle was moving towards Mars at a speed of 120 km per hour. However, before entering the orbit of Mars, the device has to decelerate slightly for 27 minutes so that it never gets lost in deep space.
This was done with the help of some instruments inside the vehicle and exactly 11 minutes later this news reached the earth. This is the time it takes for the signal to reach Earth through the distance of 19 million kilometers between Mars and Earth.
At this time, a suffocating situation has arisen among scientists in the United Arab Emirates. It was as if they had been waiting for this moment at the Mohammad Bin Rashid Space Center for a long time.
Omran Sharaf, project director of the HOPE mission, said, “The most dangerous and important part of our journey to Mars was entering the planet's orbit. "He has never before experienced the kind of pressure that the space shuttle Hope is under."
He further said, “We have achieved a great milestone. Now we are waiting to start the research work by gathering scientific data”. For the last few days, a massive campaign was also conducted in the UAE for this Hope Mission. Red lights are also lit at all government pillars, buildings and traditional places.
Things to do to prevent Corona virus
# stay at home all the time.
# Follow the rules and use mask when going out for emergency.
# three-layer surgical mask can be washed if desired.
# wash clothes after coming home from outside. Or hang it without shaking for at least four hours.
# Wash hands thoroughly (for at least 20 seconds) with soap or liquid before coming outside.
# plastic PPE or eyes, mouth, head after single use
Of course it can be washed thoroughly with detergent and dried.
# Wear PPE made of cloth or clean as described.
# Use a head cap that completely covers the hair.
# Those who have sneeze cough should follow all the rules promulgated by the government. Also, wash hands as directed before and after handling food items, keys, switches, mice, remote controls, mobiles, watches, computer desks, TVs, etc. and after using the bathroom. Those who have dry hands use Moisture after washing their hands. Soap or hand liquid can be used. Why can this virus remain in the crackle (cracked part) of dry hands? Avoid using highly alkaline soaps or detergents.
