During Jahili period this day was also known as 'Yawmul Aruba'. It has more names.

That's why Friday is the best
A gift from God. Allah has chosen this day as the best day for our Ummah Muhammad above other Prophets and their ummahs.
The punishment of the grave is reduced
Dying on Friday is a sign of good fortune for true Muslims. Because of the blessings of Friday, the person who dies on this day is freed from the torment of the grave. It is said in the hadith, if a Muslim person dies on the day or night of Friday, then Allah Almighty saves him from the punishment of the grave. (Tirmidhi, Hadith: 1074)
Sagira sin is absolved
If a Muslim performs 5 daily prayers and Friday prayers regularly and remains free from sin, then due to the superiority of Friday, all the sins between the two Fridays are forgiven. (Muslim, Hadith: 233)
5 Friday Specials
Friday is not only a gift from God; Rather, Allah Almighty has filled the day with various special features. Rasul (pbuh) said, 1. Adam (as) was created on this day. 2. He was sent to earth. 3. He also died on this day. 4. There is a time on this day (after `Asr) during which one prays for anything other than haram, Allah grants it. 5. Doomsday will happen on this day. (Ibn Majah, Hadith: 1084)
Signs of being pioneers in the hereafter
On the Day of Resurrection, we will be more advanced than other Prophets' Ummats in all aspects. The Prophet (PBUH) said that we are the last Ummah; But we will be pioneers on the Day of Resurrection. Although the Book was given to all Ummahs before us and it was given to us last of all. (Muslim, Hadith: 1863)
Surah Kahf Two Jumar Jyoti
Allah has also given another special offer on this day in the recitation of Surah Kahf. Whoever recites Surah Kahf between Thursday sunset and Friday sunset, the period between the two Fridays will be enlightened. Rasulullah (SAW) said that whoever recites Surah Kahf on Friday, the time between two Fridays will be bright. (Bayhaqi, Shuabul Iman, Hadith: 5996)
Therefore, we should worship Allah more and more on this blessed day and refrain from all kinds of sins. May Allah grant us all the opportunity to get close to Allah more and more - Ameen.
Things to do to prevent Corona virus
# stay at home all the time.
# Follow the rules and use mask when going out for emergency.
