The Dhaka Times Desk Facebook authorities are going to turn their Menlo Park headquarters into a Covid-19 vaccination center.

Through this, the social media joined the US government's program to strengthen vaccination efforts.

According to a report, this organization is joining with Ravenswood Family Health Center for the sake of initiative. Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg said this recently.

"We will also join California state and local nonprofits in supporting mobile vaccination clinics in 4 hard-hit areas of the state," he wrote.

Earlier this year, the social media company also announced a new tool to help people find Covid-19 vaccination centers. Those interested could also know where to get vaccination through that tool. The company also made arrangements to receive Covid-19 information on its photo-sharing site Instagram.

Facebook plans to open its headquarters in May this year. If there is some improvement in the Covid-19 situation, then the institution will open the office only as per the plan.

On the other hand, in a separate report of the news agency, it is said that even if the office in Menlo Park, California is opened, only 10 percent of the workforce will be allowed to join the office in the beginning.
