যখন দু’জন মানুষ দীর্ঘদিন একসঙ্গে থাকেন তখন তাদের সুখে থাকারই কথা। তবে তারপরও সুখ নেই দু’জনের কারও মধ্যে। এমনটা হয়ে থাকলে কয়েকটি ক্ষেত্রে খেয়াল রাখা অত্যন্ত জরুরি। এতে করে সম্পর্কের মধ্যে সুখের কোনো ঘাটতি কিংবা বাধা সৃষ্টি হবে না।
প্রথমেই খেয়াল রাখতে হবে দু’জনের মধ্যে কথা যেনো বন্ধ না হয়। দু’জনের মধ্যে কথা বলা খুবই বেশি জরুরি একটি বিষয়। কারণ কথা বললে অনেক সমস্যার সমাধান বেরিয়ে আসে। তাছাড়া সম্পর্কের মধ্যে যদি মনের ভাব প্রকাশ না পায় তাহলে সেই সম্পর্ক কখনই টিকেও না।
সম্পর্কের মধ্যে সম্মান থাকাটা খুবই বেশি জরুরি। একে অপরের প্রতি পরস্পর যদি সম্মান না থাকে তাহলে ক্ষণে ক্ষণে একজন অপরজনের কাছে অসম্মানিত হবেন সেটিই স্বাভাবিক। এমনকি এজন্য দু’জনের পরিবারও অসম্মানিত হতে পারেন।
আর একটি বিষয় হলো বিশ্বাস। সম্পর্কে সম্মান থাকার মতোই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ হলো বিশ্বাস রাখা। বিশ্বাস না থাকলে সম্পর্ক কখনও মজবুত হয় না। বিশ্বাস না থাকলে সৎ মানুষটিকে নিয়ে বারবারই সন্দেহ সৃষ্টি হবে মনে। এতে দোষারোপ থেকে তর্ক-বিতর্ক এবং অসম্মানের মতো ঘটনাও ঘটতে থাকবে। তাই সম্পর্কের মাঝে বিশ্বাস থাকা আবশ্যিক একটি বিষয়। তাছাড়া পারস্পরিক বিশ্বাস না থাকলে সেই সম্পর্ক কখনও স্থায়ী হয় না।
