Cabinda Kalimina was fired from the news station after this incident. Then he shared the video clip of the news on his Facebook profile. He also wrote, Yes, I did that on live TV. Because most journalists are afraid to open their mouths. That doesn't mean journalists never open up.
Already the video has thousands of views. Many of the netizens have asked for the payment of outstanding salaries of KBN workers.
However, the channel authorities have completely denied the allegation raised by Cabinda. On their part, this behavior of Cabinda is not acceptable.
The Chief Executive of the channel, Kennedy Mambwe, made a statement on Facebook on behalf of the channel. There he said, Cabinda Kalimina was one of our part time workers. His allegation is not acceptable to us at all.
