Breaking: 6 killed in Moghbazar mysterious blast

The Dhaka Times Desk A terrible explosion at the wireless gate in Moghbazar of the capital Dhaka shook the surrounding buildings. The windows of some buildings were broken by the loud noise. 6 people were killed.

However, it is not yet confirmed how the explosion started. This incident happened after evening on Sunday (June 27).

It is said that 6 people were killed and half a hundred people were injured in the blast in Moghbazar. The injured have been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital Burn Unit.

Locals say that this explosion happened in Moghbazar Plaza just before evening. Pedestrians and many people in 2 cars were injured in the explosion. The sound of the explosion shattered the glass of the car on the road.

Regarding the onset of the explosion, many of the eyewitnesses say that the explosion occurred with a loud noise. They had never seen such an event before. Moreover, even though there was such a big explosion, only traces of fire were not found there. The fire service is yet to confirm the actual incident.

Fire service is carrying out rescue operations.
