A joint team of Defense Research and Development Organization (DROD) and Brahms Aerospace Corporation will investigate the reasons for the failure.
According to sources, scientists initially believed that the test launch was not successful due to a problem in the propulsion system. However, the source said that it will be understood only after a detailed analysis that the expectations were not met.
It should be noted that one of India's most reliable missiles is the Brahmos. It was also rarely successful during test launches. The Brahms missile, developed in 2005 in a joint venture between India and Russia, was handed over to the Indian Navy. Now it is made stronger with new technology. Earlier, it could target at a distance of less than 300 km. At present, the missile can hit targets at a distance of 450 km. At the same time, these Brahmas move towards the target at supersonic speed. According to experts, the Indian Navy will be considered stronger in terms of defense due to Brahmus missiles.
