কলিডারের সূত্রে জানা যায়, এইবিও ম্যাক্সের একটি প্রজেক্টে ‘সুপারম্যান’ চরিত্রে দেখা যেতে পারে হলিউড অভিনেতা মাইকেল বি জর্ডানকে। এই খবর যদি সত্য হয় তাহলে প্রথমবারের মতো কোনো কৃষ্ণাঙ্গ অভিনয় করবেন ‘সুপারম্যান’ চরিত্রে।

জানা যায়, এইবিও ম্যাক্সের এই প্রজেক্টটি প্রযোজনা করার কথা মাইকেল বি জর্ডানের নিজস্ব প্রযোজনা প্রতিষ্ঠান ‘আউটলিয়ার সোসাইটি’। সিনেমাটির স্ক্রিপ্ট লেখার জন্য প্রযোজনা প্রতিষ্ঠানটি একজন লেখক নিযুক্ত করেছে বলেও জানানো হয় কলিডারে।

তবে ‘সুপারম্যান’ চরিত্রে অভিনয় সম্পর্কে এখনও মুখ খোলেননি হলিউড অভিনেতা মাইকেল বি জর্ডান। কিন্তু ২০১৯ সালে এক সাক্ষাৎকারে ‘সুপারম্যান’ চরিত্রে অভিনয়ের ইচ্ছার কথা জানিয়েছিলেন এই অভিনেতা।

উল্লেখ্য, মূলত কাল্পনিক কমিক চরিত্র ‘সুপারম্যান’। এই চরিত্রটি ১৯৩২ সালে আমেরিকান লেখক জেরি সিগাল ও জোই শাস্টার তৈরি করেন। পরে তারা ১৯৩৮ সালে চরিত্রটি ডিসি কমিকস এর কাছে বিক্রিও করে দেন। এই চরিত্রটি প্রথম প্রকাশিত হয় ১৯৩৮ সালের জুনে অ্যাকশন কমিকসের প্রথম সংখ্যায়। পরবর্তীকালে টেলিভিশন সিরিয়াল এবং চলচ্চিত্রে বহুবার ফুটিয়ে তোলা হয় এই চরিত্রটি। তবে আজ পর্যন্ত কখনই কৃষ্ণাঙ্গের কোনো অভিনেতাকে এই চরিত্রে অভিনয় করতে দেখা যায়নি।
