Launch of new digital transaction service 'TAP'

The Dhaka Times Desk A new dimension has been added to the country's digital financial transactions. New Mobile Financial Services (MFS) Trust Aziata Pay or called “TAP” has been launched to provide secure services to customers.

Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed, Chairman, Trust Aziata Digital Limited, inaugurated this commercial activity at the Trust Bank's head office on July 28 at noon.

Under the service, senders can make money transactions, pay utility bills, insurance installments, educational institution fees, deposit fees related to recruitment of three forces, accept remittances, online merchant payments and recharge services of all mobile phone operators.

The specialty of 'TAP' is that its customers can register for the service only through national identity card and selfie. Fees for 56 educational institutions, recruitment fees for three armed forces and fees for national identity cards and passports can be paid through this service alone. All customers of T-Cash (Trust Bank's mobile banking) will now become customers of TAP and will be able to use more attractive features while keeping all previous facilities intact.

Chairman of Trust Aziata Digital Limited, Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed said at the inauguration of the service, Mobile Financial Service or MFS is a modern and useful technology in the current technology era. So we are launching Trust Aziata Pay or Tap in a joint venture between Trust Bank Limited and Aziata Digital Services, a company of Army Welfare Trust.

I am truly happy and proud to launch such a technology in the country on this auspicious occasion of the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation and the golden jubilee of our great independence. I hope we will be able to deliver this service of tap to the doorstep of the people of the country, Inshallah.
