The Dhaka Times Desk Bangladesh defeated Australia by 23 runs in the first match of the five-match T20 series against Australia today (Tuesday).

As a result of this victory, the Tigers were leading 1-0 in the 5-match series. These two teams will enter the field in the second match tomorrow (Wednesday). In response to Bangladesh's 131 runs, visiting Ajira was bowled out for 108 runs. After winning the ODIs and Tests, Bangladesh managed to taste defeat in three formats by defeating Australia in T20 today (Tuesday).
Bangladesh got their first ODI victory against Australia in 2005. Then came the first Test win in 2017. Tigers tasted victory in the short version of cricket today.
