This film is going to be released on October 8. Currently the makers and crew are busy with the promotion of the film. Rashid Palash said, 'We wanted to tell a story of the life of the riverside people in this film. Which is absolutely our story, the story of the people on the banks of the Padma.'

Sadia Mahi, Prasoon Azad, Shampa Reza, Jayaraj, Sumit Sengupta, Kayes Chowdhury, Suchna Shikder, Hedayet Nannu, Reshmi, Ashraful Ashish, Sadia Tanzin and many others have acted in various roles in 'Padmapuran'.
