A Bangladeshi student named Nadia Majumder lost her life in a tragic road accident in Canada. He was hit by a minivan while crossing the signal on Birchmount-Danforth Road in Toronto on October 19 at 12:15 a.m. local time.
When he was admitted to a local hospital with injuries, doctors declared him brought dead. Nadia, a 17-year-old Bangladeshi, was a Grade 12 student at Birchmount Collegiate School.
Suman Majumdar is the father of deceased Nadia. Their home is in Sylhet. Meanwhile, the news of Nadia's death cast a shadow of mourning on the Bangladeshi community of Toronto.
The body of the deceased is scheduled to be buried at the Richmond Muslim Cemetery after a Janaza at Toronto's Masjid Al-Abedin and Islamic Research Center on Thursday, Baad Zohr.
