The Dhaka Times Desk An outbreak of an unknown disease in children has occurred in the Congo. A Congolese media claimed that the outbreak of the disease has been the highest in the southwestern part of the Congo.
The media reported that about 165 children have already died there. Last week, the media reported details about this unknown disease. This death march started from last August. Children from 1 to 5 years are more affected by this unknown disease.
The disease first appeared in the town of Gungu in Quilu province of the country. The regional health director there said that the children who were affected were showing symptoms of malaria. He said that some positive results will be obtained by testing for malaria. However, despite the examination of many affected children, no exact cause of the disease or disease has been identified.
Alani Jamba, head of the country's Mukedi rural community, told the newspaper that in Munene and Kingzamba, about four children die each day from the disease. The exact cause of the disease is still unknown. The Ministry of Health of Quilu Province informed that research on this disease will be started soon.
