Bus movement started with people's 'Ghad Para'

The Dhaka Times Desk The transport owners did the same even though it was bad to hear the people 'hanging their necks'. They did not demand withdrawal of increased oil prices. They stopped the bus to increase the fare. That is, once again the people were made a scapegoat.

The day the oil price was increased, the transport owners called for a strike. They live in this country and they are citizens of this country. It is natural that if the price of oil increases, the cost of the car will increase. But when the fare increases, the common people of this country, especially the common people, travel by bus. But the bus owners never thought about what would happen to them. If they thought so, they would have demanded withdrawal of increased oil prices. But he didn't. They called off the strike as soon as the rent was increased.

Think about the country we are living in. Think about our neighboring country. On the same day that our oil prices were increased, they also reduced the prices of diesel and even edible oil. Can the people of our country ever think that the price of something will be reduced!

On the same day that the price of diesel was increased, the government announced that the car fare would be re-fixed on the 7th. But the bus owners could not bear those two days. They could have said that if the fare is not fixed properly on the 7th, we will go on indefinite strike from the 8th. But they didn't. They held the people hostage and called a strike to raise the rent. Unwritten strike again! Told the owners on the phone not to take out the car! What country are we living in?

Again, our government does not go short in this regard. The condition of people is not even good in Corona situation. Many lost their jobs. Many institutions have closed due to Corona. At present, the people have not yet overcome that shock. But at the moment the price of oil needs to increase! Even if it is increased, if it is increased very little, this situation would not have happened. Moreover, the government should have sat down with the owners before increasing the price of oil. Or they should have said you don't go on strike we will raise the rent. Moreover, the decision should have been taken on the day after the oil price was increased, i.e. Friday. The reason is that we have a lot of experience of sitting courts on Fridays or emergency meetings of ministers. If this decision was taken on Friday, the people would not have to suffer.

The kind of anarchy that is going on in the transport sector needs to be stopped. In the capital, Dhaka, bus fares are taken at will. In the name of sitting service, arbitrary fare is collected from people. This anarchy is more common in vehicles plying from the airport via Mirpur. Bus fare from Airport to Gabtali Bus Stand is Tk 30. But if anyone from the airport crosses the cantonment flyover and goes down to ECB Chattar, he also has to pay that 30 rupees. But this stop is not even half the distance from the original fare!

The increase in bus fares today will not only make people pay more in the transport sector, but will have an impact on all aspects including daily necessities. The people should pay for it. Neither the government nor the bus owners can do anything. Because they have the opportunity to increase the rent as they wish and make more profit. So it is natural that they play boggle.

Things to do to prevent Corona virus

# stay at home all the time.
# Follow the rules and use mask when going out for emergency.
# three-layer cloth mask can be washed if desired.
# wash clothes after coming home from outside. Or hang it without shaking for at least four hours.
# Wash hands thoroughly (for at least 20 seconds) with soap or liquid before coming outside.
# plastic PPE or eyes, face, head must be washed thoroughly with detergent and dried after one use.
# Wear PPE made of cloth or clean as described.
# Use a head cap that completely covers the hair.
# Those who have sneeze cough should follow all the rules promulgated by the government. Also, wash hands as directed before and after handling food items, keys, switches, mice, remote controls, mobiles, watches, computer desks, TVs, etc. and after using the bathroom. Those who have dry hands use Moisture after washing their hands. Soap or hand liquid can be used. Why can this virus remain in the crackle (cracked part) of dry hands? Avoid using highly alkaline soaps or detergents.
