According to the report, Europe's air is becoming deadly for people there due to the mixing of various types of microscopic particles with the air.
The report was published by the European Environment Agency, the European Union's independent environmental information agency, on Monday.
According to the report, 58 percent of these deaths could have been avoided if all European Union countries had agreed to adhere to the World Health Organization's guidelines on acceptable levels of air pollution. According to the guidelines of the World Health Organization - a maximum of 5 micrograms of pollution per cubic meter of air is acceptable.
On the other hand, Germany has the highest death rate due to air pollution among European Union countries. In one year, 53 thousand 800 people died prematurely due to air pollution there. Then there is the position of France. 49 thousand 900 people died prematurely due to air pollution in the country.
And Italy is in the third position in terms of death rate due to air pollution. Spain is in fourth position. 29,800 died in Italy in one year and at least 30,300 died in Spain. But Poland had the highest number of deaths per capita. 39 thousand 300 died there in just one year due to air pollution.
Note that 346,000 people died in the European Union due to air pollution in 2018.
