This fish was caught in the sea last December 11 evening. According to media sources, the fish was then sold for Tk 7 lakh in Saira Dale market.
Matarbari Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Abu Haider said that a 28 kg kala poati was caught in the net of Bahddar Chhaidul Haque of Saira Dale area of Matarbari. Which was bought by some local fishermen for 7 lakh rupees. 3 days before that, a total of 15 black worms were caught in the boat of the merchant. Which are sold at Fishery Ghat in Chittagong for 11 lakh taka.
Chhaidul Haque, the owner of the boat, said, 'Kala poa weighing about 28 kg has been caught. Which was bought by some local people for 7 lakh taka. I have been very happy and profited by catching cala poa in my boat.'
