The Dhaka Times Desk Director Abdus Samad Khokon started shooting for the government-funded film 'Shravan Jotsnaya' last October. The shooting is going on in full swing.
Bangladeshi actor Gazi Abdun Noor, who played the role of Rajchandra Das, the husband of Rani Rasmani in Kolkata's 'Karunamayi Rani Rasmani' serial, and actress Parantha Fardeen Dighi have teamed up for the first time in the new film.
The maker told the media that 45 percent of the work of this film has been completed. He said that he started shooting for 'Shravan Jotsnaya' with Noor-Dighi in the middle of October. 45 percent of the work was completed in the continuous shooting.
The producer said that he will return to shooting next month. However, the entire work of 'Shravan Jotsnaya' will be completed by next February.
The film is based on the novel 'Shravan Jyotsnaya' by the popular fiction writer Imdadul Haque Milan and is produced by Tamanna Sultana and funded by Event Plus.
Munmun Ahmed, Masum Bashar, Subrata Barua, Milli Bashar and many others are acting in the film.
