Police couple murder Oishi says friends killed. 3 people including Oishi are on remand for 5 days

The Dhaka Times Desk Oishi is now telling the police that she did not kill her parents. His friends killed him. Meanwhile, when the police appeared in court yesterday, the court granted 5-day remand to 3 people.

In her statement to the police, Oishi said that the father was backdated. He was not a match for me. And mother used to tell my father everything. There was no freedom. I was bored.'

That is why she killed her parents or not, Aishee said in response to the question of the police officers, 'I did not kill my parents. I can't do that. My friend Johnny and an acquaintance of Johnny killed them. I just mixed sleeping pills with coffee.'

Investigating police officials said that they were surprised to hear such a statement of Oishi. The police officer involved in the investigation said that after the preliminary interrogation, they think that Aishi and her friends are involved in this murder. Housekeeper Khadija Khatun Sumi helped drag the body to the two bathrooms. Attempts are underway to arrest two more people involved in this.

It is known that Mahfuz admitted Oishi in a school in Dhaka after being transferred. Due to poor results there, he was admitted to an English medium school. This year he has completed 'O' level two part examination from that school. But then he became inattentive, did not study properly. His anger started with his parents.

According to the police, two youths known to Oishi are Yaba retailers. They used to sell Yaba to the rising youth. They are again members of a dance group. A year and a half ago, I met Aishe at a dance event.

Housekeeper Sumi told the police that she often saw Aishee taking tablets. He used to leave home almost in the morning. Sometimes he returned late at night. Parents get worried. From then on, parents imposed strictness on Oishi's behavior. His father told the security personnel of the house so that he could not go out without permission.

Police officials said that last Wednesday morning, Aishe told her mother that she had recovered and would not be disobedient anymore. Mother informed her father. Baba was happy and took him for a walk in Ramana Park in the morning. After this belief, Aishi told her mother to go out on Wednesday afternoon. Mother allowed him to go. On this occasion, Aishee left home to meet her friends and returned in the afternoon. According to the police, the murder plan was hatched at this time.

Housekeeper Sumi said in the interrogation that Oishi had given sleeping pills to her parents with coffee once before. But Aishi told the police that she did not do it to kill.

How to kill

Officials involved in the investigation said that during interrogation, Aishi said that she had only mixed anesthetic in coffee and made her parents unconscious. Killed by his friend Johnny and an acquaintance of Johnny. Aishee claims that two people including Johnny came to their house on Wednesday night with a car. Then they were hidden in the house. After the parents became unconscious, they carried out the massacre.

Why did Oishi surrender?

During the interrogation, Oishi told the police officials that on Thursday morning after the murder, she left the house with her housekeeper and younger brother and went to different places by auto-rickshaw till afternoon. For this, the autorickshaw is given 1500 rupees. In the afternoon, the autorickshaw driver wants to know where they will go. In response, Oishi told about being in danger. Then the driver gave them shelter. All three including Oishi were at the driver's house in Mugaday that night.

The next morning, Oishi came out of the driver's house. Then sent the younger brother home in a rickshaw from Kakrail. Oishi goes to a friend's house in Badda. On Saturday morning, Oishi went to her aunt's house in Uttara. But the house was locked. In the newspaper passed by the hawkers under the house, he saw the murder of his parents. That's when he decided to surrender. Oishi came to Paltan police station from Uttara at around two o'clock on Saturday.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DB) Joint Commissioner Monirul Islam told reporters that Oishi surrendered without finding any safe shelter.

3 people including Oishi are on remand for 5 days

The court granted 5-day remand to 3 persons including their daughter Oishi Rahman in connection with the murder of the wife of Special Branch (SB) inspector Mahfuzur Rahman. The other 2 people are - Oishi's friend Mizanur Rahman Roni and housekeeper Khadija Khatun Sumi.

On Sunday afternoon, Sub-Inspector Shadidullah Pradhan of Paltan police station produced 3 of them in the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate's Court and applied for a 10-day remand. After the hearing, the Metropolitan Magistrate Md. Mizanur Rahman granted 5 days remand.

It is to be noted that the police recovered the bodies of Mahfuzur Rahman and his wife from the bathroom by breaking the door of the rented flat of Paltan police station in the capital on Friday afternoon. They were buried at their village house in Mymensingh on Saturday. In this case, Oishi, housekeeper Khadija and Oishi's friend Mizanur Rahman alias Roni have been remanded for 5 days after their arrest.
