The Income Tax Department officials are investigating the allegations of tax evasion. They said that the businessman was accused of sending goods with fake invoice, sending goods without e-way bill. He was also accused of creating invoices in the name of fake company. It has been alleged that 200 such fake invoices of Rs. 50,000 have also been found.
It is known that the officials of the Income Tax Department first conducted a search operation at Anandpurit Piyush's house. 150 crore notes were found there! Piyush owns a perfumery business. It also has cold storage, petrol pump business. He also owns a showroom in Mumbai. Along with the officials of the Income Tax Department in Kanpur, the officials of Mumbai also joined the search operation.
