Jaya Ahsan is the Goodwill Ambassador of UNDP

The Dhaka Times Desk Popular actress Jaya Ahsan has been appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador of UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) for the next one year.

Jaya Ahsan has already been widely appreciated for her participation as a volunteer in various development works. That is why he has become the goodwill ambassador of UNDP. As a UNDP Goodwill Ambassador, he will primarily work to raise awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs.

Regarding this, Jaya Ahsan said, 'I am happy to be the goodwill ambassador of UNDP and on the other hand, I feel honored to be able to work with UNDP for the people of the country. Everyone must work together to achieve the goals known as SDGs to save our beautiful planet by 2030. I will try to raise awareness about this through my work, so that we all can make the world, including Bangladesh, more beautiful and tolerant.'

Jaya also said, 'To make this world beautiful and livable is the promise of all of us, to keep this promise, we all have to fulfill our responsibilities from our respective places. Only then will it be possible to achieve the SDGs.'
