The scene you see is Chittagong's historic Masjid-e-Siraj ud-Daula. This mosque is located on Siraj Ud Daula road, Chandanpura, Chittagong.
According to the history of the mosque, in 1666 Shaista Khar's army liberated Chittagong from the Magharajads of Arakan. Then many mosques were built here under his instructions.
Among which Masjid-e-Siraj ud-Daula is one of them. In 1946, a man named Master Abdul Hamid started rebuilding and renovating the mosque. In 1950, his eldest son Abu Sayyid Dubhash completed the renovation of the mosque.
The mosque has a total of 15 domes. The construction of the largest dome required 15 maunds of silver and brass worth around 4 lakh rupees at that time.
