Siblings flew from the United States to repay the nut debt 11 years ago!

It is surprising to think that many people can forget about paying the price of just a few thongs of peanuts. But the two residents of Andhra Pradesh 11 years ago did not forget. They are two siblings living in America at the moment. About 11 years ago, the resident of Andhra Pradesh bought a few thongs of groundnuts for his children. He could not pay the price at that time. But he promised to pay the debt later. After all these years, his children spoke for that person.

Debt repayments are often unheard of. But recently this work has been done by two siblings. They came back to India from America to repay their father's 11-year-old 'debt'. 21-year-old Nemani Pranab and his younger sister Suchita who studied in America told the whole matter to the media.

The incident happened in 2010. Little Pranab and Suchita went for a walk with their parents on the beach of U Kothapalli in Kankinara town of East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. At that time Pranab was only 10 years old. Pranab-Suchita's father Mohan bought a few thongs of groundnuts from a hawker while visiting the seaside.

Then there is a problem in meeting the price of almonds! Mohan had left his wallet at home! But looking at the children assured the hawker - the price of peanuts will be met later! After listening to the hawker, Mohan returned home with groundnuts as before. However, before returning, he took a picture of the hawker with his camera. Also learned his name, Ginjala Pedda Satyaiah. He promised that he would settle the groundnut price one day later.

Mohan could not keep his word even if he promised Satyaiya. Within a few days the family left for America. After returning to the country, Mohan did not meet Satyaiya even after going to that beach. Desperate to 'repay' the debt, he sought the help of a friend. D Chandrasekhar Reddy, the then MLA of Kankinara Assembly Constituency, was the friend who started looking for Satyaiya after hearing about Mohan. Reddy took Satyaiya's picture from Mohan and posted it on his Facebook wall. He also asked his personal secretary Govindrajulu to look for Satyaiya.

After several years of searching, finally the people of his village contacted Govindrajulu after seeing Satyaiya's picture on the internet. Govindrajulu gave the good news to Pranav recently. After getting the news from Govindrajulu, Pranab and Suchita quickly returned home from America. 21-year-old Pranab is now studying in America for graduation.

Pranavara went to his village to meet Satyaiah on December 30. They come to know that Satyaiya is dead. However, Pranab-Suchita handed over 25 thousand rupees to his family. Even after 11 years, they paid off the peanuts!
