The arrested person is a citizen of Thailand and a former employee of the Australian Embassy in Bangkok. He was arrested by the country's police after finding multiple secret cameras installed in the women's toilets at the embassy.
The Royal Thailand Police said that the matter came to attention after the SD card was found on the floor of the women's toilet on January 6. An investigation was started when a complaint was lodged with the police on behalf of the embassy authorities. After that, the suspect was arrested.
