Arifil Mosque (also known as Arifail Mosque) is a historical architecture in Bangladesh, located in Arifail village of Sarail Upazila, Brahmanbaria district.
It is declared as a listed archaeological site by the Bangladesh Directorate of Archaeology. Locally it is also known as Idol or Arifile. This mosque is located next to Sagardighi in Arifail village of Sarail Upazila Sadar. Its distance from Sadar is about half a kilometer.
This mosque was built in 1662. According to local legend, the mosque was built by Dervish Shah Arif and named after him.
The size of this mosque is 80x30 feet and the thickness of the wall is about 5 and a half feet. The total entrance of the mosque is 5, of which 3 are on the east side and the remaining two are on the north and east side respectively. There are 4 towers at the four corners of the mosque. It has a total of 3 domes. Under the domes, the interior of the mosque has 3 bays which divide the interior into 3 sections. These domes are decorated with lotus flowers. The outer side of the mosque wall is decorated with quadrangular khops. It is tiled and limewashed for preservation. But the earlier structure still survives. There is also a shrine next to the mosque.
