Bangladesh got a great victory

The Dhaka Times Desk Afif Hossain and Mehdi Hasan Miraj of Bangladesh have written a great story of avoiding the big loss and turning around. Bangladesh got an amazing win against Afghanistan with their bat.

Bangladesh defeated Afghanistan by 4 wickets in the first match of the three-match ODI series at the Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. In response to Afghanistan's 216 runs, Bangladesh scored 219 runs losing 6 wickets. Tamim's team reached the port of victory with 7 balls in hand.

Despite the fall of 6 wickets for just 46 runs, the Bengal Tigers were able to leave the field with the victory in the end with the great partnership of Mehdi Hasan Miraj and Afif Hossain. They both built a partnership of 174 runs.

Mehdi Hasan Miraj scored 81 runs off 120 balls. On the other hand, Afif Hossain scored 93 runs off 115 balls. This was the highest run innings of both in ODI career.
