The mosque you see is the Islamganthi Mosque in Atrai, Naogaon. This mosque is located in Islamganthi village of Bisha union of Atrai upazila of Naogaon district.

No one in the village or the surrounding area can tell exactly when or who built the mosque of medieval architecture. Based on the words of the elders of the village, it is believed that this mosque is more than five hundred years old.

According to the history of the mosque, it is believed that this mosque was established by Islam Khan during the reign of Subedar Islam Khan (1608-1613).

The location of this mosque is on the other side of the river Atrai. Although many parts of which are now lost, this part is still standing on the banks of the river.
