Berger Artist Art Competition organized on the theme 'My Colorful World'

The Dhaka Times Desk Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited (BPBL) recently organized an art competition for small artists under the banner of Berger Artista products to commemorate the great liberation war of Bangladesh.

493 paintings were submitted in this competition, from which the top 50 were selected to participate in the art camp. This art camp was held last Saturday (02 April) in the direct presence of all. Certificates and other attractive prizes were awarded to the winners who participated in the art camp.

The painting competition on Bangladesh theme for junior artists is divided into two categories; Children below 10 years of age participate in one category and 10 to 15 years of age in the other category. The first round of competition was held online through an open call; Where children submit their drawings to Berger's official Facebook page.

After submission of paintings, 50 participants (25 each from two groups) were selected for the art camp.

The Art Camp was held at Bakultala, Faculty of Fine Arts, Dhaka University. Biswajit Goswami, Lecturer of Fine Arts Faculty of Dhaka University, was in charge of the overall supervision of the art camp. 50 small painters who participated in the camp were given a certificate of participation and a Box Berger Artista along with training, meetings and workshops on art.

The selected participants participated in the final round, where they drew various artworks on the theme 'My Colorful Land'. Six winners were presented with crests, certificates and attractive prizes at the event.

Regarding the matter, Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited General Manager (Marketing) AKM Sadek Nawaz said, “Berger Artista is the first acrylic paint made in Bangladesh, which has acrylic colors of different shades. This exhibition of works by Berger Artista will create new opportunities for the small artists of the country. This art exhibition will inspire children and youth, through which they can highlight the local community, culture, history.” News bulletins.

Avoid using highly alkaline soaps or detergents.
