This is the first time that a Bangladeshi movie is going to be released in more than 100 international cinemas simultaneously. Mohammad Aliullah Sajib, president of international distributor 'Dream Scarecrow', confirmed through a press release that this film directed by Gias Uddin Salim is being released simultaneously in about 100 multiplexes in North America on May 20 (probable date). The previous record was held by the movie 'Unpanchash Bata'. which was simultaneously released in 16 international theatres.

Recently, Director of Sales and Marketing Ibn Hasan Khan and Chief Executive Saikat Salahuddin of 'Swapn Scarecrow Bangladesh' have signed an agreement on behalf of Impress Telefilm for the North American release of 'Pap Punya'.
