How to buy train ticket

To buy a ticket, first you need to visit the eticket.railway.gov.bd website. Then click on the 'Register' button on the right side of the website. Then a new page will appear for registration. Here you have to fill the corresponding cells of 'Personal Information' with the required information and after filling with the Security Code displayed next to the Security code cell, you have to click on the Register button.

If all the information is correct then a new page called 'Registration Successful' will appear. An e-mail from Bangladesh Railway will be sent to the passenger's e-mail immediately from the e-ticketing system. Then open the e-mail provided by Bangladesh Railway in the message box in the e-mail. Then you have to click on the 'Click' link kept inside the message. After this process the passenger registration process will be complete. Many may have pre-registration. They also have to re-register.

Know the process of buying tickets

To purchase tickets first visit eticket.railway.gov.bd website. Then you have to click on 'Log in' button with e-mail, password in 'Log in' option. Then on the page that will appear you have to fill in the travel date, starting station, destination station, train name, class, ticket number etc. Then you have to click on 'find tickets' option.

Then the name of the trains of that destination will come. There, 'view seat' and its price will be informed in the preferred train. If you have a ticket, click on the 'Purchase ticket' button. Ticket fare must be paid by debit or credit card and Bikash. Then the e-ticket will be sent to the e-mail of the passenger and confirmed.

Then take the print of the ticket sent from the e-mail message box and collect the pre-departure printed ticket from the concerned source station with the e-ticket 'Ticket Print Information' along with the photo ID. Moreover, the ticket can also be printed with the PDF file.
