A couple from Switzerland came as ambassadors of peace in Kulsoom's life who had lost everything. They adopted him from the orphanage. Five-year-old Kulsoom grew up in Switzerland but could not forget her mother. Kulsum found her mother after 45 years. Although Kulsum's name is Mario Simo Vamou now. On April 9 (Saturday), Kulsum returned to her nest in Mohammadpur of the capital.
Her relatives welcomed Kulsoom with flowers as she landed in Mohammadpur's courtyard. At this time, people gathered around. After a few decades, Kulsoom became emotional after getting close to his people. Kulsoom is mad to see her mother. He is hugging and kissing his mother every now and then. Saying thousands of things he didn't say. Even though he can't speak much Bengali, his eyes and face are full of joy. Kulsoom's husband Andre Simon Vermut also came along. He also tells about his feelings.
Kulsoom said, due to being born in a poor family, my mother sent me to an orphanage at the age of 5 on the advice of my uncle. At that time our house was also burnt down. But a Swiss couple adopted me from the orphanage. Then grow up there. I may have had a good life but my 45 years of happiness are 5 years of sadness. Every moment in my mind I wanted to get my family back. I finally found my family.
Kulsoom also said, mother's name is Maryam, we were four brothers and sisters. Father was a pharmacist. I came to Dhaka by launch with my mother. Then I went to my uncle's house in Mohammadpur. I don't remember the address though. Kulsoom aka Mario Simo Vamou is very happy to have a family after so many years.
