The Dhaka Times Desk Holy Ramadan is a special gift from Allah to the believers. In this month Allah opens the doors of mercy, forgiveness and salvation for His servants.
Increase the reward of every good deed in this holy month. There are 3 special times in the hadith to get all these benefits of Ramadan. When the stream of Allah's mercy towards the servant starts pouring.
After dawn
Most people fall asleep after Fajr in the month of Ramadan. But this time is very important for worship and prayer. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, 'The person who performed the Fajr prayer in congregation, then sat until the sun rose and remembered Allah; Then pray two rakats - that has the reward of one Hajj and one Umrah. (Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 586)
Imam Nawabi (RA) said, 'Certainly the best time of the day to remember Allah is after Fajr. (Al Azkar, page 155)
The learned scholars said, Allah distributes sustenance after Fajr prayer. So sleeping at this time is undesirable. Especially in the month of Ramadan, when Allah opens the doors of His grace and increases the reward of every good deed.
Moments before iftar
The sunset and pre-iftar moments are very valuable for worship and acceptance of prayers. The earlier scholars used to spend the time before Iftar in prayer and remembrance of Allah. Because the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, 'The supplications of 3 persons are not returned: the just ruler, the fasting person when he breaks his fast and the supplication of the oppressed person. (Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 1752)
However, most of the people in our society are busy preparing iftar at this time. Especially women are working till the moment before Azan, which is not acceptable in any way.
The last third of the night
There is no substitute for last night worship, dua and supplication to gain nearness to Allah Almighty. The Holy Qur'an praises the supplications and supplications of this time by saying, 'They are patient, truthful, loyal, spendthrift and apologetic in the last night. (Surah Al-Imran, verse 17)
The Prophet (PBUH) said, "When the last third of the night was left, our Lord Himself came down to the sky of the earth and said - Whoever calls Me, I will respond to his call, whoever asks from Me, I will give to him, and whoever asks for forgiveness from Me, I will forgive him." will do (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 1145)
Therefore, the fasting person should make an effort to perform Tahajjud before or after Sahri and ask Allah for forgiveness and goodness during this time.
Not only these three times; Rather, believers should worship Allah and ask for Ziqi every moment of their lives. Allah says, 'So be patient with what they say, and glorify your Lord before sunrise and before sunset; Proclaim holiness and glory in the night and at the ends of the day, so that you may be satisfied. (Surah Taha, verse 130)
Almighty Rabbul Alamin enliven every moment of our life with His remembrance. -Amen
