The Dhaka Times Desk Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has complained that Russia has blocked 22 million tons of their food exports.
Zelensky told reporters after a meeting with Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa that an energy crisis would be followed by a food crisis if the international community did not help Ukraine unblock its ports.
Zelensky also commented that a military solution could be a way to resolve the ongoing crisis. He said they agreed to release Russian soldiers in exchange for Ukrainian soldiers.
However, a separatist leader in Crimea said that about 2,500 Ukrainian soldiers were captured from the Mariupol steel plant. Out of which 78 are women. They must be brought to justice.
On the other hand, Polish President Duda said in his speech to the Ukrainian parliament that Ukraine should decide its future. He also commented that Ukrainians are guests of his country. The Polish president reiterated his commitment to give full support to Ukraine in its fight against Russia.
