According to police sources, a thief entered an ATM booth of HDFC Bank to steal. After entering the booth, the first thing they do is spray black paint on the CCTV camera and make it useless. Then he tried to cut the ATM machine with a gas cutter. And that's when the problem happened. ATM booth caught fire due to gas cut. And then that fire spread around. That damaged the ATM machine. Some furniture and two CCTV cameras were also burnt. At the time of the incident, there was Tk 3 lakh 98 thousand in that ATM machine.
