According to media reports, last month, 1 crore 7 million taka was mistakenly sent to the salary account of a person working in a private company in Chile. Which is more than 286 times the real salary of the person.
However, he assured that the company will return the excess money. After that he disappeared.
The company said that the employee's monthly salary was around 50 thousand Bangladeshi taka. However, due to a technical glitch, Tk 1 crore 70 lakh was sent to his account last month. He also assured that he would return the extra money if he was informed about the matter on May 30. However, he resigned from the job on June 2 and since then there is no trace of him.
A complaint has been filed against him in the police station on behalf of that organization.
