The beautiful mosque you see is the historical Pagla mosque of Kishoreganj. The historical Pagla Mosque of Kishoreganj stands as a bearer of tradition.

It is a two and a half year old mosque. All Muslims and non-Muslims donate in this mosque with open hands. The reason is that people believe that if you make a vow or donation here with a sincere heart, diseases, sorrows, misfortunes will be removed. Around lakhs of taka are deposited daily in the donation box of Pagla mosque. Open the donation box and find – gold ornaments, foreign currency, other valuables too.

Found in 2015 - A large amount of money and 238 gold, 86 silver, diamond rings and other valuables. The mosque gets a lot of income by auctioning them.
2 crore 45 lakh 52 thousand 644 taka available in 2016.
Available in April 2017 - one crore six lakh 93 thousand 32 taka.
In the month of August 2017 - one crore 15 lakh 75 thousand 170 taka.
On March 31, 2018, 84 lakh 92 thousand 375 taka is available.
On July 7, 2018, 5 donation boxes of the mosque were found - 88 lakh 29 thousand 17 taka.
Usually - after 3/4 months opening the donation box, such a huge amount of money is available.
Available on 6th January 2018 - One Crore 27 Lakh 36 Thousand 471 Taka.
In the financial year 2018-2019, the income was 5 crore 87 lakh 91 thousand 413 taka. And 5 crore 50 lakh rupees have been spent.

'Pagla Masjid' is located on the banks of Narsunda River in Harua area west of Kishoreganj city. The mosque has a 5 storey high minaret.

Legend has it that Mahavir Isha Khan's male subordinate Dewan Zilkadar Khan alias Zilkadar Pagla left worldly affairs and lived a devoted life of spiritual pursuits. That is why he was also known as 'Crazy Sir' to people. This mad spiritual man floated to get a mat in the middle of the river Narsunda and settled near the present mosque and many devotees gathered around him. For his worship, the Dewan family built a tin house on a hill in the middle of the river Narsunda at Pagla Sahib's own favorite place. The house later came to be known as the 'Mad Mosque'. After his death he was buried in Haiwatnagar Saheb Bari Graveyard.
