When I was in seventh standard, former Bangladesh captain Khaled Mahmood Sujan Bhai came to play for Siraj Memorial Club in Mymensingh. I managed to get an autograph from him, but couldn't say a word.

International cricket game for the first time

২০০৭ সালে শ্রীলঙ্কার বিপক্ষে প্রেমাদাসা মাঠে আমার অভিষেক ঘটেছিলো। আসলে সেদিনের কথা আমার কিছুই মনে নেই, আমি খুবই নার্ভাস ছিলাম, বলতে পারেন আমি স্তম্ভিত হয়ে গিয়েছিলাম। আমরা প্রথমে বোলিং করেছিলাম, আর কিছুটা দেরীতে খেলা শুরু হওয়ায় হতভম্ভব ভাবটা কিছুতেই যাচ্ছিলো না। আমি ২৮ রানে ২ উইকেট নিয়েছিলাম যার একটায় তামিম ক্যাচ ধরেছিলো মিডউইকেটে বাউন্ডারির কাছে দাঁড়িয়ে। এরপর সাত নম্বরে নেমে ৫৪ বলে ৩৬ রান করেছিলাম। আমি আমার ভাই এমদাদুল্লাহ’র কাছে অনেক কৃতজ্ঞ, যিনি আমাকে অনেক কিছু শিখিয়েছেন। আমার এতোদূর পেছনে তাঁর অবদানের কথা ভুলতে পারবো না।

First any memorable sledge or taunt

I don't usually do that on the field but I remember I verbally abused Brendan Taylor on the ground in Dhaka. I knew he didn't score much in that day's game but when I came to bat he was talking too much so I told him to keep quiet. Later I saw the video on YouTube but I really don't know if this video is one of the popular cricket videos on YouTube.

First International Century

In 2010 Against New Zealand It was my first international century in a Test match. I played very positively that day and was ready for a century to say the least! I played every ball completely like myself. I still remember that innings, try to get energized from there.

Dance for the first time after the victory celebration!

Last year Windies in Dhaka field Lost in the fifth match we danced However, I told my teammates in the dressing room before the game that if we win, we will definitely celebrate the victory with the Gangnam Dance. Everyone took it seriously, but we hadn't practiced the dance before, or it was in the news! But what made the ending so sweet was the achievement.
