Study claims: Risk of mental illness increases after recovering from Covid

The number of mentally ill people in the world is not very small. Many people commit suicide every hour. Apart from respiratory damage due to covid, mental health is more damaged than that. This is what a study done by the Lancet magazine claims. The Lancet expressed this opinion after looking at the reports of about 10 lakh 25 thousand patients. The study found that the risk of developing mental illness increased within 6 months of recovering from Covid. Most of the patients suffer from mental depression, the effect of which may last for more than two years, the researchers fear.
