The mosque woke up from the dry river!

There was an old river in Haldia village in Nawada district of Bihar, India, after which this mosque has risen after it dried up.

This mosque is 120 years old. Even though it was under water for more than 30 years, there was no damage to this mosque.

Local elders said that the mosque was built in the early 20th century. This mosque built in Mughal style is about 120 years old. Locals named this mosque Noori Mosque. The height of the mosque from the ground to the dome is about 30 feet.

In 1979, Phulwaria Dam construction started at this place. At that time there were many Muslims living in this area. They used to pray regularly in this mosque. But when the government started building the dam, the Muslims had to leave this place. The government acquired the entire area and shifted the villagers to another village. The authorities did not damage the mosque as it was not necessary during the construction of the dam.

Even though the water in the dam has dried up, the entire area has become muddy. But already curious Muslims entered the mosque crying. They found the mosque completely intact. Although submerged for several decades, the structure of the mosque was not damaged at all! - Khabar Express Tribune.
