A medical team has already been formed for Roni's treatment. A gas balloon suddenly exploded at the Gazipur Metropolitan Police's fourth foundation anniversary ceremony on Friday afternoon at Gazipur District Police Lines. 5 people including Roni were burnt in this incident. Among the burn victims, Roni and Zillur Rahman were kept under observation at the emergency department of the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery on Friday evening.
